This ERPL issue comprises the proceedings of the EGPL Conference that took place in September 2024 on the occasion of the EGPL Annual Reunion on the theme “A Changing Europe in a Changing World”.

In this issue of the Review, eminent academics and legal scholars specializing in this field present their papers on topical issues of utmost significance such as “World Security”, “The EU as a Financial Intermediary”, “The Rule of Law in the European Union”. Moreover, the themes treated in the context of the Workshops held within the framework of the Conference (i.e., “Asylum and Migration (New Pact of the European Union)”; “Safeguarding Individual Rights in Emergencies: A Challenge for Modern Democracies”; “Artificial Intelligence, Sovereignty and the Rule of Law: The Impact of the Rise of Artificial Intelligence on the European Constitutional Order”) are examined through contributions by legal scholars and academics with a great interest in the respective fields.

Furthermore, in this issue of the Review are published the Laudationes in honor of five founding or long-standing Members of the European Group of Public Law, in celebration of its 35th Anniversary.
