
Richard Crowe is Head of the Institutional & Budgetary Law Unit at the Legal Service of the European Parliament. In that capacity, he provides legal support to Members of the European Parliament in EU legislative and budgetary procedures and represents the Parliament in litigation before the EU Courts.
Prior to joining the Parliament in 2011, he worked at the Legal Service of the European Court of Auditors and, before that, at the Academy of European Law (ERA) in Trier, Germany.
He is an Irish Barrister and a graduate of the College of Europe (Bruges), the Honorable Society of King’s Inns (Dublin) and the University of Limerick. He has lectured on EU law at various universities around Europe and publishes on different aspects of EU institutional and budgetary law.
