General Terms and Conditions

The European Public Law Organization administers this website. By submitting an order for such products or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. All content on this website appears subject to the present Terms and Conditions.
The EPLO reserves its exclusive right in its sole discretion to alter, limit or discontinue the website or any content in any respect. The EPLO cannot be held liable for non-availability of any products, although it commits to inform the users in case of non-availability during the order process. 
Under no circumstances shall the EPLO be liable for any loss, damage, liability or expense incurred or suffered that is claimed to have resulted from the use of this website, including, without limitation, any fault, error, omission, interruption or delay with respect thereto.
The user hereby undertakes not to use this website and/or e-shop in order to send, publish, e-mail, and distribute any content, besides the information necessary for placing an order or submitting a request relevant to the order.

Terms and Conditions of Purchase

If you wish to purchase any of the products offered on this website, you must register first and then submit a complete order form. You will be required to select your products for purchase and complete your delivery and payment details at the Checkout stage. Once data has been included you will be able to review and correct if necessary your data prior to concluding payment of your order. You will then be sent a confirmation email providing an order reference number.

Prices

The price of products and services offered on this website shall be that quoted on the website on the date you place your order. While we make every effort to ensure that prices quoted on the website are accurate, if there has been an inadvertent error, the correct price will be stated in the Order Confirmation Email. You will have the opportunity to withdraw from the order at that stage if the correct price is higher than that quoted and you are not happy with that higher price.

Terms of Payment

Is the product delivered worldwide?

The e-shop ships products worldwide via the Hellenic Postal Service. The shipping costs are calculated based on weight and the country of destination at the checkout stage of the buying process. The value will be added to the amount of your purchases. 
You may be charged with customs and import duties based on the country where the order was shipped. Please note that the EPLO is unable to fοresee if such charges will be imposed and therefore will not be held  responsible for any additional charges. 

Can I send a product to a friend's address?

Yes, we can deliver to any address you indicate. The order you are going to create to fulfill your purchases may have different details to the ones used in your account registration. 

What are the payment methods?

You can make a purchase using your credit card or by bank deposit. For more details please refer to the Payment Details page in this website. Your payment will be charged when the order confirmation email is issued. We reserve the right to verify the identity of the credit card holder by requesting appropriate documentation.

What happens in case the products arrive damaged?

Our efforts aim for you to be satisfied with your purchases. In the unlikely event that you receive a parcel with damaged or defective products, please send us an e-mail immediately by submitting a photo of the received damaged package. Kindly return the products within 14 working days from the date of receipt. Products must be packed safely in a new packaging which needs to contain the old packaging plus any documents included.
The products should arrive to us with no further damage to the one shown in the photo submitted. We will then replace your order immediately, following relevant inspection and approval of the return. You will be informed accordingly by email.
Regarding Digital Editions, you cannot return them after the downloading. However, if Digital Editions are faulty, you may contact us via email and provide us with screenshots of the defective sections. We will review and solve the problem and therefore provide you access to the correct files, without extra costs. 

Right to Cancel

Costumers have the right to cancel their purchase within 14 days after the date of purchase by sending a written notice of cancellation by email. This right of cancellation applies to all products  offered on the website, except for Digital Editions once they have been downloaded.

When cancelling your  purchase, we will reimburse you for the cost of the book by the same means of payment as the ones received from you within the next 40 days after the receipt and approval of the condition of the returned products. Kindly return the products within 14 working days from the date of receipt at no damage. Returned products should remain at their original condition and the parcel should contain any documents included in the initial package.

You are responsible for the cost of returning the products to us. The products will be returned at your own risk.

Safety Policy

Personal Data Management

The management and protection of the personal data of the visitor/user of the website is subject to the terms of this section as well as to the relevant provisions of the Greek and EU Law.

The present terms are formulated taking into consideration the rapid growth of technology and especially of the Internet. In this context, any potential relevant change will be subject to this section. In any case, the administrator reserves the right to change the terms of protection of personal data upon informing the visitors/users and within the existing or future legal framework. 

If a visitor/user does not agree with the terms of protection of personal data provided in this section the visitor/user should not use the pages/services of this website.

System Registration - Subscribing services

The administrator may use the information of the visitor/user to make proposals for new subscription services to the subscriber or for other informative purposes unless the latter disagrees. The information is never disclosed to third parties.

The administrator may use cookies to identify a visitor/user of certain services and pages of the website (e.g. newsletters). Cookies are small text files stored on the hard disk of each visitor/user and do not interfere with any document or file on their computer. They are used to facilitate the access of the visitor/user when it comes to the use of certain services/pages of the website, for statistical purposes and to identify the areas that are useful or popular, or for marketing purposes.

The visitor/user of the website can set her/his browser in such a way so that she/he can be informed on the use of cookies in certain services of the Organization or to prevent the use of cookies in any case. If the visitor/user of such services and pages does not wish to use cookies for her/his identification she/he cannot have further access to such services.

General terms of protection of personal data

The administrator treats all personal information as confidential and shall not disclose it to any third party (individual or legal entity) for any reason, with the exception of the relevant provisions of the law and only to the competent authorities. The administrator maintains records of personal data, sent by the visitor/user only for communication purposes. The visitor/user may contact the EPLO to check for the existence of his personal record, its correction, change or deletion.

Visitors/users of the website who are minors, are allowed to have access to the services/pages of the website only with the consent of their parents or guardians and are not obliged to submit their personal information. In the event of submission of such information from minors, the administrator has the right to delete the relevant information.

The administrator can process part or all of the data you have sent for statistical purposes and for the improvement of services - information.

Data retention policy

Your information will be retained for as long as your account is active and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
