Thomas Groß is Professor of Public Law, European Law and Comparative Law at the University of Osnabrück since 2011. Before he was teaching in Heidelberg, Gießen and Frankfurt/Main.
He is a member of the Institute for Migration Research and Intercultural Studies (IMIS) and of the European Legal Studies Institute (ELSI) at the University of Osnabrück. Since 2024 he is a Principal Investigator in the Collaborative Research Centre ›Production of Migration‹ based also in Osnabrück.
His main research areas are Migration Law, Environmental Law, European Administrative Law, Comparative Public Law, and Science Law.
