This volume of the European Public Law Series, edited by Dr. Andreas I. Pottakis, features the proceedings of an international conference organised in January 2009 by the European Public Law Organization, under the auspices of the Ministry of Interior, Public Administration and Decentralisation of the Hellenic Republic, and within the framework of the “Politeia 2008-2010” Operational Programme, on the theme “Transparency and Reform of Administrative Procedures especially through E-Government Initiatives for a Better Public Administration”. The following topics were discussed during the conference by more than 25 rapporteurs from across Europe: Regulatory Reform, Control of Public Administration and Evaluation of Public Policies and Improving Public Services through New Technologies.
