This book features the proceedings of an international conference organised in November 2005 by the European Public Law Center (now European Public Law Organization), under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Interior. The following topics were discussed during the conference: Multilevel governance and reform of Public Administration; reform of Public Administration and Common Assessment Framework; reform of Public Administration, administrative accountability and practical ethics; and reform of Public Administration and risk management. Finally, the speeches of Professors G. Amato, P. Craig, P. Gonod, F. Goudappel and L. Martín-Retortillo Baquer in the commemorative ceremony for the 10 years of the EPLC in memoriam of Professors P.W.C. Akkermans, G. Dupuis, D. Foulkes, M.S. Giannini, D. Lévy, S. Martín-Retortillo Baquer, J. Rivero and Sir William Wade are presented in the book.
