This year’s administrative law chronicle provides an overview of the 2019 amendment of the two main pieces of legislation regulating Portuguese administrative procedural law: the Statute of the Administrative and Tax Courts and the Portuguese Procedural Code of Administrative Courts. Major topics include (i) the specialisation of the administrative courts, (ii) the creation of a new appeal before the Supreme Administrative Court to align case law, (iii) amendments to the automatic suspension of awards in urgent proceedings regarding public procurement, and (iv) changes made to the regulation of administrative arbitration in Portugal.
La chronique de droit administratif de cette année donne un aperçu de la modification de 2019 des deux principaux textes législatifs régissant le droit procédural administratif portugais: le Statut des tribunaux administratifs et fiscaux et le Code de procédure des tribunaux administratifs portugais. Les principaux sujets abordés sont: 1) la spécialisation des tribunaux administratifs, 2) la création d’un nouveau recours devant la Cour administrative suprême pour aligner la jurisprudence, 3) les modifications apportées à la suspension automatique des sentences dans les procédures d’urgence concernant les marchés publics, et 4) les changements apportés à la réglementation de l’arbitrage administratif au Portugal.
