Max Vetzo has been an attorney-at-law at Pels Rijcken – the Netherlands State Advocate’s Office – since 2025, advising and litigating on behalf of the Dutch State on a variety of matters within the field of constitutional law, human rights and administrative law.
In 2025 he obtained his PhD (Utrecht University) cum laude for his thesis 'Constitutional Procedure'.
In 2023 Max was affiliated to Harvard Law School as a Visiting Researcher. He frequently publishes in the field of (comparative) constitutional law and administrative law. Max is a visiting fellow at Utrecht University and a member of the editorial board of the Dutch Journal of Constitutional Law.
