Volume III, “Legal Reform in the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina”
50 pp., 30,49 €, ISBN: 1-904673-48-1
Volume III under the title “Legal Reform in the Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina” includes reports of some of the key experts who worked in Brcko within the framework of the Brcko Legal Reform Project, which has placed most of its efforts on assisting the Brcko District Judiciary.
OHR approached the European Public Law Center (EPLC) - now European Public Law Organization - in the year 2000, asking for assistance in two major fields - Judicial System Reform and training of the Brčko District Interim Assembly Councillors. The EPLC started its Brčko Legal Reform Project with financing from the Hellenic International Development Cooperation Department (Hellenic Aid) in collaboration with OHR and Brčko Law Revision Commission (BLRC), an office especially created and tasked with a responsibility to produce a modern and appropriately uniform system of justice for the District.
Included in this publication are reports of some of the key experts who worked in Brčko within the framework of the Brčko Legal Reform Project, which had placed most of its efforts first on assisting the Brčko District Judiciary and then on dealing with the local Interim Assembly, which was equally important.
