This chronicle discusses the amendment to the Slovak Constitution approved by the Slovak Parliament on June 4, 2014. In the first part, it describes the legal and political context of the amendment to Article 41(1), i.e. "traditional marriage protection". The second part discusses changes related to the Articles on the judiciary, i.e. the composition of the Judicial Council and the introduction of the security clearances for judges.

Cette chronique traite le thème de la modification de la Constitution slovaque qui a été approuvée par le Parlement slovaque le 4 juin 2014. Dans la première partie, elle décrit le cadre juridique et politique de la modification de l'article 41(1), i.e. "la protection du mariage traditionnel". La seconde partie discute des changements relatifs aux articles sur le système judiciaire, i.e. la composition du Conseil judiciaire et l'introduction des habilitations de sécurité pour les juges.
