The chronicle presents aspects of the evolution of constitutionalism in Romania in 2017, a year marked by two anniversaries with a strong constitutional significance: the 25th anniversary of the Constitutional Court of Romania and the 10th anniversary of Romania’s accession to the European Union. At the same time, the chronicle presents jurisprudential benchmarks that give expression to the evolution of the Constitutional Court, in the sense of diversifying the constitutionality review instruments, and the reasoning of its decisions, with the consequence of consolidating the control of constitutionality as a whole.
La chronique présente des aspects de l’évolution du constitutionnalisme en Roumanie en 2017, une année marquée par deux anniversaires ayant une forte signification constitutionnelle: le 25ème anniversaire de la Cour constitutionnelle de Roumanie et le 10ème anniversaire de l’adhésion de la Roumanie à l’Union européenne. En même temps, la chronique présente des repères jurisprudentiels qui traduisent l’évolution de la Cour constitutionnelle, dans le sens de la diversification des instruments de contrôle de constitutionnalité, et le raisonnement de ses décisions, résultant à la consolidation du contrôle de constitutionnalité dans son ensemble.
