The chronicle of administrative law in Latvia presents the most important changes in the area of administrative law in the recent past. It provides an overview on the reform of the regulation of administrative offence, especially an overview of the main changes compared to the previous regulation. The chronicle also gives an overview of the power of the State Audit Office to recover losses by an administrative act. From the point of view of administrative law, the new regulation of whiste-blower protection is presented. Finally, the guarantees conferred to judges of the Constitutional Court after the expiry of their term of office are examined.
La chronique du droit administratif en Lettonie présente les changements les plus importants intervenus dans le domaine du droit administratif dans un passé récent. Elle donne un aperçu de la réforme de la loi sur l’infraction administrative, en soulignant les principaux changements par rapport à la réglementation précédente. La chronique donne également un aperçu du pouvoir de la Cour des comptes de l’Etat de récupérer les pertes subies par un acte administratif. Du point de vue du droit administratif, elle présente le nouveau règlement sur la protection des lanceurs d’alerte. Enfin, elle expose les garanties accordées aux juges de la Cour constitutionnelle après la fin de leur mandat.
