In the 2013-2015 period, the Netherlands celebrated its 200th anniversary. During these two hundred years, the Dutch Constitution has proved to be of great value in shaping and regulating the Dutch society and legal order. Given the stringent amendment procedure of the Constitution, it is unlikely that proposed amendments to the Constitution will be enacted into law in the near future. The agreements between the coalition parties and three opposition parties have led to a great deal of stability in the relationship between government and Parliament. The current practice of 'seat banditry' however has led to tensions within Parliament. In 2013, the Netherlands got a new Head of State, King Willem-Alexander. As far as human rights are concerned, the (finale) of the SGP-case, the Vereniging Martijn-case and the upcoming trial against Geert Wilders are of importance. Many decentralization proposals were carried out by the government in 2013 and 2014.
Dans la période 2013-2015, les Pays-Bas ont célébré leur 200e anniversaire. Au cours de ces 200 ans, la Constitution néerlandaise s'est avérée d'une grande importance dans la formation et la régulation de la société et de l'ordre juridique aux Pays-Bas. Etant donné la rigueur de la procédure d'amendement de la Constitution, il est peu probable que les amendements proposés à la Constitution seront adoptés sous forme de lois dans un futur proche. Les accords entre les partis de la coalition et trois partis d'opposition ont abouti à un large pacte de stabilité dans la relation entre gouvernement et parlement. La pratique actuelle du "banditisme de siège" a cependant apporté des tensions au sein du parlement. En 2013, les Pays-Bas ont eu un nouveau chef de l'Etat, le roi Guillaume-Alexandre. En ce qui concerne les droits de l'homme, l'affaire SGP, l'affaire Vereniging Martijn et le procès à venir contre Geert Wilders sont importantes. De nombreuses propositions de décentralisation ont été faites par le gouvernement en 2013 et 2014.
