
Juan Francisco Díaz is a lawyer with a Master’s degree in Administrative Law and a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Valladolid. He also holds a certification in Contract Law from Harvard University. He serves as a professor at Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar and teaches in several postgraduate programs at other universities. Additionally, he is an external consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
He has participated in over a hundred academic events across Ibero-America and has published extensively on public procurement, corruption, governance, and sustainability.
He currently serves as the National Coordinator of the Ecuadorian Public Procurement Observatory (ObTCP) and is a member of the International Association of Administrative Law (AIDA), the Institute for Administrative and Social Law Studies (IDEAS), and the Mexican Association of Administrative Law (AMDA). He is also a collaborating member of the Spanish Public Procurement Observatory (ObCP) and the Ibero-American Network of Public Procurement (REDICOP).
