
Asea Gašparić, Master of Laws, graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb in Croatia with the topic The freedom of parents to decide on the upbringing of their children within the framework of religious education. Since 2022, she has been a PhD candidate at the Deák Ferenc Doctoral School of Law's program named Central European Comparative Law and a doctoral researcher at the Central European Academy in Budapest, Hungary. Her main field of research is children's rights and criminal law, focusing on the juvenile justice systems of Central and Eastern Europe, particularly Croatia and Hungary. She is the author of several papers, a presenter at numerous international conferences, a member of the Editorial Board of the Central European Academy Law Review journal, and the co-organizer of two international conferences.
