This paper briefly decribes the correlation between Danish Law, European security action and Council of Europe’s legal instruments on the protection of fundamental rights. It is outlined how the genuine influence on the development of Danish law often lies with Datatilsynet and that Datatilsynet is influenced by international organizations, particularly EDPS.
