Understanding Equality through Privacy

Treating A equally to B is a good way to describe equality; but it is only the beginning. When we know that an equal distribution of specific benefits and burdens is either morally problematic or impossible, where do we go from there? Looking at how the right to privacy interacts with the right to equality can help us move our analysis forward.
