This chronicle firstly looks at the 2020 pandemic and its impact on the political and constitutional system in Slovakia. The second part analyzes the 2020 constitutional amendment, passed by the Parliament as part of the I. Matovič’s government manifesto promise to substantially overhaul the Slovak judicial system’s institutional design.
Cette chronique examine tout d’abord la pandémie de l’année 2020 et son impact sur le système politique et constitutionnel en Slovaquie. La deuxième partie analyse la modification constititutionnelle de 2020, adoptée par le Parlement dans le cadre de la promesse du manifeste du gouvernement de I. Matovič de réformer substantiellement la conception institutionnelle du système judiciaire slovaque.
