The current trends in the global economy are analyzed, focusing on the impact of digitalization on the formation of greening policies, which serve as a key instrument for transitioning to a sustainable development model amidst global challenges. It is noted that the use of innovative and digital technologies can contribute to more efficient resource utilization, fostering environmental sustainability. The effective combination of innovative digital transformation and greening measures will facilitate the creation of a sustainable and productive society. It is emphasized that Internet of Things (IoT) systems and sensors can be used to monitor the environment and ecological indicators. Recommendations are provided for measures that could support developmental stages leading to progress and the safe development of the global economy, which is a key task for ensuring sustainable development and environmental protection. It has been proven that the dominant global trends in the transformation of the world economy are digital transformation and greening, which will be crucial for the competitiveness of countries in the future. Greening and digitalization of the economy are among the primary global strategic goals for the sustainable development of the world’s largest economies. The development of the global economy must be based on considering and balancing the technological, social, and environmental aspects of global economic mechanisms.
