Are the Four Human Rights Institutions in Slovakia
Cooperating or Competing?
An Application of the Nash Equilibrium in the Human Rights Area

Eduárd Csudai

PhD Candidate, Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences, Comenius University, Bratislava

The paper deals with the question of whether there is more cooperation or competition among the four state-based human rights institutions in the Slovak Republic. Slovakia has, in fact, the most human rights institutions in comparison with the V4 countries. I looked at the phenomenon through the lenses of the game theory and its assumptions deriving from reality. The institutions are at first sight non-cooperating. Therefore, I specified the theory based on the Nash equilibrium of non-benefit strategies of the players.
