CARRIED OUT BY THE INTERNAL AFFAIRS BODIES IN UKRAINE

The article examines the administrative legal regulation in the field of copyright protection, carried out by the internal affairs bodies in Ukraine. During the research, the author analyzes the administrative legal mechanism of copyright protection in Ukraine and the legislation which regulates such relationship. Special focus is given to the analysis of the current problem of copyright piracy in Ukraine and to searching the ways of reformation of the Ukrainian legislation and state authorities such as the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which coordinates the activities aimed at protecting copyright. This article presents the administrative legal mechanism of copyright protection in Ukraine which consists of such items as rule of law, legal relationship, and acts of implementation of rules of law. In the article it is noted that copyright protection in Ukraine is one of the most difficult areas of law at the moment despite the recent dramatic achievements of the Ukrainian national legislation. An interesting thesis is examined not only for the academic community but also for practitioners and students of law departments.
