Τhe EPLO Publications comprise journals, series and stand-alone publications dealing with topical issues of public law.

European Review of Public Law

The EPLO Publications’ centerpiece is the European Review of Public Law, which is a quarterly publication, established in 1989 to create an international forum for analysis and discussion of issues in the development of constitutional and administrative law in Europe.

To chronicle the evolution of national public law in the enlarged geopolitical area of Europe, the Review presents, in each issue, recent developments in the domestic legal order of about 25 countries which are summarized and analyzed by authorities in the field. Developments on the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union and of the European Court of Human Rights are also presented.

The ERPL devotes one issue of its quarterly publication to the conference of the European Group of Public Law (EGPL), which meets annually to discuss a particular public law issue of contemporary importance, with high-quality contributions providing a European as well as an international perspective. Recent conference topics have included: Public Law and Solidarity; New Challenges to DemocracyThe New European Economic Governance; and Rights across Borders: Citizenship and Immigration in Europe.

Central and Eastern European Legal Studies

The EPLO is also publishing the Central and Eastern European Legal Studies, which was launched in 2013 as a periodical publication and aims at giving the opportunity to academics coming from CEE countries and also to academics from other countries specializing in this field, to come together and exchange views on public law issues of these countries.

European Politeia

In the section of periodical publications, the European Politeia is the third journal published by the EPLO under the scientific supervision of the Greek Center of European Studies and Research (EKEME) of the EPLO. This is a European-Greek and Greek-European initiative. It is a Greek initiative but European in its outlook and concerns. The orientation of the journal is to offer a Greek perspective on the European project and European values.

Stand-alone publications are also part of the EPLO Publications.

One main distinctive feature of the EPLO Publications is that they give the opportunity to researchers to access an international audience, amongst others by choosing through a variety of languages for their submissions. Thus, the ERPL expresses its commitment to linguistic diversity by accepting submissions in seven languages: English, French, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, German and Italian, whereas the CEELS accepts articles in English, French, Russian, German, Italian as well as in the native languages of authors coming from Central and Eastern European countries (including the Turkish and Greek languages). The same policy is followed by the European Politeia journal, which is seeking contributions in English, French and German.
