Mg. iur. Reinis Ivanovs is a lawyer who has been practicing law at the law firm “Berg Attorneys” since 2020. Obtained his master’s degree in law from the University of Latvia in 2024. Since 2024, he has been a doctoral student at the Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia.
He is currently working on his doctoral thesis “Modernisation of the Institute of Damages”. Author of several publications, mainly in the field of Civil Law and Competition Law. Participant in several international scientific conferences both in Latvia and abroad. Lecturer at the Faculty of Law at the University of Latvia.
He works as a research assistant at the Institute of Legal Science of the University of Latvia. In 2025 he provided his opinion to the OECD regarding the peer review of the competition law system in Latvia.
