Venera Seitimova is a judge at the Court of the Eurasian Economic Union since 2015. Her career started in 1997 when she was appointed as a judge at national courts of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From 2013 to 2014 Mrs. Seitimova was appointed as Judge at the Economic Court of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
She is an expert of the Judicial System of the Republic of Kazakhstan and has been awarded the following medals: "10th Anniversary of the Constitution of Kazakhstan", "For Distinguished Service", the Badge "Honorable Worker of the Judicial System of the Republic of Kazakhstan", the Certificate of Appreciation from the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Her studies focus on the analysis for the constitutional provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Laws of the Union and Eurasian Integration.
She has published several articles. Her article on “Ethical Standards of International Civil Service and International Justice: Towards a Values-Oriented Common Approach” has been published in the European Review of Public Law (ERPL) 31_2/2019.
